MY REVIEW:

I usually don’t listen to Madonna.  She is not in my top list for music but when I received this album and listened to her music and her lyrics I really enjoyed her album.  I liked all the songs on the album and can’t really say which are my favorites cause I liked them all!  The only thing is I would have liked the album as “censored.”  I really don’t have anything negative to say about the album.  This album has made me more aware of Madonna and I will be listening more of her in the future.

Holiday Wishes, a Christmas album recorded by Tony Award-winning singer/actor Idina Menzel, is out now on Warner Bros. Records.  The album was produced by Grammy Award-winner Walter Afanasieff (Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey) and features such classic favorites as “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” as well as Joni Mitchell’s Christmas-themed “River,” one of Menzel’s favorites.  Another highlight is a duet with international superstar Michael Bublé on “Baby It’s Cold Outside.” An exclusive Target edition of Holiday Wishes features two bonus tracks, including “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”.

Idina’s career has traversed stage, film, television, and music. MY REVIEW:

I love, love this album / cd!  It’s so festive and lively!  The kids and I love to sing to this cd specially, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside!”  Sometimes I sing the guy part and the kids sing the girl part.  We listened to this while putting up our Christmas Tree.  The only thing I thought was odd about this cd is the song, “Wish Upon a Star.”  To me that is really not a Christmas song.  I just found it to be out of place with the album.  I really don’t care for “River” either but those are the only two songs I don’t really care for on the album.  I like the album cover.  Overall, I loved it!

Yes!  I would buy this album for Christmas listening or buy for a gift for someone else.

MY REVIEW:

I really enjoyed listening to this album.  It has a lot of catchy tunes.  I really liked the songs Therapy and Right Now.  This is my type of music!  I enjoyed listening and singing along to this album.  I have always liked Mary J. Blige and have had some of her songs in the pasted and I’m really glad I got to be apart of this product review / album review.  There is nothing bad I can say about this album!  I totally love it!
